Greeting from Delhi Ophthalmological Society!!
We are happy to launch the Photo Album of Annual Conference of Delhi Ophthalmological Society - 2010 which was held at five star hotel, Ashok Hotel, Chankayapuri, New Delhi in central location New Delhi.
DOS Annual Conference 2010 Photo Album
DOS is growing every year day by day. We have recorded increase in members totaling 461 members (out of which 31 are from Delhi) and now the total no of members have increased to 5562.
The Annual conference was held from 16th to 18th April, 2010. It was attended by 3500 delegates. The theme of the conference was “Ophthalmology NOW” giving exposure to delegates for contemporary topics and latest cutting edge technology available.
Live surgery was held on 16th April, from four centres sponsored by M/s Alcon, M/s AMO, M/s Bausch & Lomb and M/s Zeiss.
The scientific session was spread across 8 halls with a total of 56 sessions 4 Instruction courses were held on FA and OCT, Visual field, corneal topography and Basics evaluation in Strabismus.
The total number scientific exhibits presentations were 105 which include 54 free paper presentations, 11 video presentations and 40 poster presentations.
It is first time lunch being served in Air Conditioned restaurant and different food like : Chinese, South Indian, North Indian was served.
A Cultural Nite was organized for the members and spouses. It was well attended and appreciated.
The trade exhibition was well attended in the front lawns of the Ashok Hotel.
